Fleet and Equipment Maintenance

Deputy Chief Jeff Roub and Captain Jason Berhens manage the maintanence, service and up keep of the department's equipment and apparatus. Milton Fire-Rescue works closely with Milton Public Works mechanics to keep our fleet well maintained ensuring the longevity of our apparatus.  When needed specialized fire apparatus mechanics are called upon for more technical repairs. 

Per NFPA standards the follwing third party testing is conducted on an annual basis:

  • Pump Testing
  • Aerial Ladder Testing and Certification
  • Hose Testing
  • SCBA Flow Testing
  • Hydraulic Extrication Tools
