EMS

Milton Fire-Rescue provides Emergency Medical Services to the Town of Milton and its visitors. The EMS Division is led by the Department's Deputy Chief. We operate two Advanced Life Support Ambulances that are licensed at the Paramedic level by the state of New Hampshire. Milton Fire-Rescue staffs one ambulance with two EMS providers 24 hours a day 7 days a week with the second ambulance that is able to be staffed with call members in the event of multiple calls or multiple patient incidents.

We maintain a strong working relationship with area hospitals, emergency services, and aeromedical services in our region. Frisbie Memorial Hospital serves as the department's Resource Hospital. The department's Medical Director, John Freese, MD, works closely with the department to promote advanced level pre-hospital care that is provided by the department to our patients.
