I joined the Milton Fire Department in 1999 as an explorer. After attending St. Thomas High School in Dover, New Hampshire, I attended Lakes Region Community College in Laconia and obtained an Associated Degree in Fire Science. During my time at LRCC I also obtained my firefighting certifications and EMT-Basic License. In May of 2003 I was hired as a full time firefighter/EMT for the Wakefield Fire Department. That same year I was promoted to Captain in Milton serving as the Training Officer. In February of 2005 I left the Wakefield Fire Department and was hired as a full-time Firefighter in the City of Rochester where I'm currently employed. In 2008, I was promoted to Assistant Chief of the Milton Fire-Department where I served for two years until the retirement of the former Chief in October of 2009. At the time I assumed the role of Fire Chief.

I have been married to my wife Danielle since 2005 and we currently have three young daughters, Lillie, Kaylin and Emilie. In my free time I enjoys, hunting, spending time preparing firewood for the winter, spending time with my girls, and working around the yard.

I am currently responsible for the administration of the fire department including, budgeting, purchasing, and overall supervision of the line officers and other administrative officers and firefighters. In addition to administration, I respond on emergency calls and often cover shifts on the Ambulance. I can be found working at the fire station three to four days each week depending on my schedule at the Rochester Fire Department.
