Units Respond to a Structure Fire in Pineland Park

No Reported Injuries as a Result of the Fire

At 1428 on Sunday March 31, 2019 Carroll County Communications Center dispatched Milton Fire- Rescue to 36 Pineland Park Road for a report of a shed fire with exposure to a residence. An automatic First Alarm Assignment was started. At 1432 Engine 6 arrived on scene and reported a working fire with exposure to two homes. Two hand lines were stretched and crews began fire attack and exposure protection. The occupants in the homes were alerted to the fire by neighbors and safely evacuated. The fire was quickly knocked down and some units from the First Alarm Assignment were cancelled. Both nearby homes were checked for fire damage and extension. One home had moderate damage to the exterior and another had melted siding. Fire was not found to have extended into either home. One of the occupants was evaluated by EMS as a precaution. At 1456 the fire was determined out and the incident was placed under control. The fire cause was found to be undetermined at the time of this release.

Milton Fire-Rescue was assisted on scene by Milton Police, Rochester Fire, Wakefield Fire and Frisbie EMS. Farmington Fire provided station coverage during the incident.
