Outbuilding Lost on Mckeagney Road

At 11:01 Milton Fire was dispatched to Mckeagney Road for a reported shed on fire. C2 arrived on scene to find a large outbuilding and surrounding wood piles burning. Engine 6 arrived on scene and quickly knocked the fire down. Do to the volume of firewood and size of the structure command requested Rochester to respond with a tanker for additional water and Farmington with an Engine for additional manpower. The house sustained damage from radiant heat. No injuries were reported. Firefighters remained on scene for about an hour ensuring the fire was completely extinguished. The cause of the fire is determined to be accidental.
